Things have slowed down significantly these last couple of months. Praise God for the most boring month since I've moved here! I didn't ever think I would be so excited to go home and not have a million things to do.
This last year has been so rewarding. Seeing the remodel of the church building completed was such an incredible thing! I think about all the hours of work that went into that building, look at the end result & am always SO AMAZED at the finished product. After almost 2 months of having church in the building I am still in awe of how God has worked in and through this building & am so excited for what is happening at 49 Circle Way. I'm thankful for my amazing family at The Table!
I had the chance to spent time with my family at the lake over Labor Day weekend. The Lake is a really significant place for my family. I hadn't spent much time with my extended family on either side in several month so it was nice to spend time with both sides during that long weekend. It was also incredibly nice to just relax and unplug from all things for a while!
It has definitely been a transition back into a little bit of a slower pace of life. As much as I have loved it, I will admit that it has felt a little odd! But all through that transition God has been showing me a lot about what peace looks like in my life. I am so prone to desiring a busy life and want to fill the empty space because that empty pace feels uncomfortable. Having margin in my life is not natural to me. So learning to embrace that margin has not been the smoothest process but I am thankful for it! During this time I came across the picture & verse below. It has been a huge encouragement to me & I hope it will be an encouragement to you!
