What would the church look like, if every person who walked in its doors, left feeling less lonely than when they first arrived? That is the question we try to answer every week when someone gathers at The Table. As we still feel like we are at the foundation of what God has destined The Table to be, we continue to be reminded that people need community. As we wrestle with the best approach at creating communities that love Jesus and love each other, we know that we could never be a one size fits all model. We know that we must always be looking towards creating additional communities that reach more people with the Gospel of Jesus. To date, we have established our main gathering community that gathers on Sunday nights at 5pm. We have also invested in the leadership of Sarah Allen to cultivate a community within our Children's ministry. Just within the last few months, Sarah Lancaster has began a brand new community to students in 6th grade through 12th grade. This semester we have also established two small group communities through our LEAF Groups. Christine Holt, Sarah Allen, Samantha Brown, Seth Allen, and Amanda Simmonds are all making sure those communities are engaged and thriving. It really is amazing to think about how The Table has created five communities already. How many more has God planned for us? In the future, we definitely see The Table expanding to establish gatherings in surrounding areas. When God calls us to go, we will create communities anywhere there is still darkness and anywhere that needs the love of Jesus.
With sincere love for each of you,
