It may still be possible that there are people among us who have not heard or have been unable to comprehend the Good News of God's Kingdom. At The Table, we believe that it is our God given task to spread the message of Jesus and to introduce others to the resurrection power found in Him. We believe that The Kingdom of God is always advancing and expanding. If we are in the center of God's will, we will be reclaiming what Hell has stolen as The Church advances on the very gates of Hell.
In Matthew 9:35, we read of how Jesus traveled through the towns and villages, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about The Kingdom. In Matthew 10:7, Jesus sends out his twelve disciples to go and announce that The Kingdom of Heaven is near. All throughout the book of Matthew, Jesus describes in many parables what The Kingdom of Heaven is like. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus tells the listeners of the famous "sermon on the mount" to seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. It is foundational that we show others the Kingdom of God as we encourage them to live righteously, so that they will be without need. After all, Jesus claimed to be living water to those who are thirsty and the bread of life to those who are hungry. In Acts 17, the Apostle Paul spoke that, "he (Jesus) is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else."
