“Focus on the Awesome”
Some times our focus gets blurry or out of whack. We begin increasingly focusing on what is wrong, missing or hard and can loose sight of all the “awesome” we have around us. If you are an American, you are blessed with wealth beyond what about 99% of the rest of the world has. According to the Global Rich List website, “a family of five living just above the poverty line ($28,410) in the US is actually “the one percent” compared to the rest of the world.” On their website, you can see how you compare: http://www.globalrichlist.com/. I put in an annual salary of just $20,000, a number well below the poverty line for a family of four. According to this calculation, I would still be in the top 3.65% of the world. We take a lot for granted, focus on the awesome.
Today, write down as many awesome things in your life as you can think of. When you run out of things, come back to it later. We have tons of awesome; sometimes we just have to refocus.
